   None of my and my family's android phones have had that issue since switching from "dumb" phone to android, regardless of brands (nexus, htc, sony, pixel, panasonic, LG, samsung, oppo...)

   My browsing's habit is the same as yours, just a bit different is I use noscript-mode and write my own scripts to fix the sites using ublock alone (so I won't need 2 extensions for it). It was a bit (nice) surprised for me to see

   I don't mind paywall. Thing is, they do * both* paywall and tracking, which just discourages me to pay for them. I do pay for services that I feel they respect my privacy.
