Printing to letter size paper is also not the only output. Where I work we routinely send PDFs to print houses. They're large format, as in paper size. Honestly I can't imagine sending an html/css bundle to a factory. How wou

It's a print format. They're meant to replicate the printed output. Sometimes I wonder how in touch Nielsen is with the real world.

Depends... There are already other implementations. But CPython is the reference implementation. That's part of why we're only now seeing optimizations that reduce code clarity for reading. (i think, dont quote me on this)

Not familiar with the codebase, so grain of salt. It's likely due to being cross platform. What's happening is they're bundling the scripts and assets with a pre-built binary. If you're writing all c++ you're likely

Do you actually need to port? It's not like 3.x suddenly stopped working. It's not like older games are porting to new versions of engines either.

If we get rid of normal classes, how do things like Django ORM work? It's a pretty significant package, if you're proposing this kind of thing, I assume there's an answer to this...

Ram usage for one, then there's the general slowness. Sometimes it just dies. It took the longest time to get an apple silicon native version. Compared to VSCode which is one of the best electron apps, Teams shows why you might want to

Often the business requirements are non-sensical, contradicting, or pointless. Someone has to actually figure out what they mean without pissing off steakholders. Remember, this isn't actually AI, it's machine learning, and the le

I've seen this with a couple of friends. They won't make that exception. Corporations are not your friend. They are not actually family, despite what HR platitudes you might heat. They will do the cost effect thing, end of story.

I find having multiple versions weird. That’s gotta be a niche need. If nothing else it seems like a good way to let packages be lax in keeping their dependencies up to date.
