Just worse in regards to intent, you're right that it's probably not indicative of how bad the outcomes are going to be.

He should know though shouldn't he, as acting president of the US he should aim to learn and know these things as part of his service to the country. Like when he's unaware of certain bills or important procedings, maybe he legiti

Using Windows as a server feels like using your lounge room as a commercial kitchen. I can never shake the feeling that this isn't a serious place to do business. I have this impression from years of using both Windows and linux server

It looks super cool. I feel like I'm watching cyberpunk come to life with the way we're talking about technology these days, but this also looks straight out of the Neuromancer of my imagination.

The blockchain doesn't require your ID, just the voting station ID.

You don't have to attribute any name to the transaction, just a voting booth ID and the vote. The actual benefit is just that it is hard to tamper and easy to trace where tampering happened. But I still prefer the paper vote and I usua

It's what gives US chocolate the "vomit/bile" taste uncommon in other chocolate. I am guessing it becomes acquired or unnoticeable taste for people who eat it a lot but man is it a shock if you usually eat chocolate with

I mean, Australia the default is decent espresso. Even our petrol stations do decent espresso, it is overroasted for sure, but it's not pot coffee either. But we have the Italians to thank for that, and Australian cafe culture is why i

No idea, which is notable because I boot into my Meta Quest 3 most nights for sim racing. You'd think I'd have seen it if they were pushing it. I am glad they don't, the headset should be a general computing device first and

I would call multiplayer out of the box the defining feature for sure. It's challenging to get networking right, and the effort required doesn't get all that much smaller just because your game is smaller. Most engines do come wit

What I love about learning a topic thoroughly is that I can then pick apart the "expert wisdom" into what actually matters. That usually results in me getting better but very pragmatic results. Coffee is a great example, I worked

That's awesome! I did look at Mint as well, it looks like a great distro. I was surprised by some of the extras I got from KDE Plasma just for no extra effort, like KDE Connect is amazing and something super painful on Windows and Mac.

I was not doing that. I was pointing out how reducing the problem to thermodynamics is not a particularly helpful part of the conversation. I see it a lot, it's not a novel insight but it is often unhelpful.

The argument misses the point, is why. It's something you would say to trivialise a complex human problem, in order to sound smart. It's treated as if all the advice people need to lose weight is a Thermodynamics 101 class. Just l

It's really not that crazy. You log onto a server, the server communicates your skins to the other clients. Counter strike itself literally did this in the 2000s, it was removed. Modders for other games working for free figured it out.
