I wish they’d let us ship MacBooks in to a service center and bypass the local authorized repair centre even if they had to tack on a small surge charge. I can send in an iPhone (and presumably an iPad): why not their MacBooks?

This is also a handy way to see if your outbound DNS requests are being hijacked and sent to another resolver instead of your chosen ones. One router I tested redirected everything to OpenDNS if parental controls were in use, some networks

Firebase looks really neat but it’s a shame you can’t modify the strict-transport-security header. I have a preloaded domain that would no longer be eligible (Chrome would keep it around for now, Firefox and their list consumers would prune

Anyone here work for/with Logitech? I'd love to know the nitty gritty behind the "encryption certificate expires" PR simplification and why a new one can't/won't be cut. (sole embedded root expiring? somet

I recall the blog having a much cleaner URL (no redirects) of https://blog.google before.. I’m curious as to why the www. version was made the default after some time? Would you happen to know the story behind it?

If one absolutely must regardless please use name/IP constraints! Client support isn't super awesome from what I understand but it's much better than having an unconstrained root ('keys to the internet') on >1 cl
