I wrote a parser combinator library for TypeScript that I have been having a lot of fun with [1]. It has limitations, I wouldn't use it to write a full language programming language like Gleam, but for "language-ish projects"

I've been thinking about it! Maybe a book that covers the basics of putting an app up on AWS... networking, covering the different options such as EC2, ECS, and fargate, plus a bit about load balancers and IAM.

The idea of functions returning functions makes a lot of people's heads spin! I've struggled to get people using this library too, but I use it in personal work and it is an absolute joy. One of my favorite things I've made.

Hey! I love parser combinators and wish they were more mainstream. That's why I wrote Tarsec, which is Parsec for TypeScript: https://github.com/egonSchiele/tarsec I have a short and a long intro, both illustrated

nit: same-origin policy is the restriction. CORS isn't the restriction, it's the thing that helps you. CORS is the solution, not the problem.

What do they care about, then? I have no connection with people like you're describing, so anything you can say would be interesting to hear. My understanding is based on the news is the economy, and gun control.

I see there's a paid version of Streampot. My understanding is the ffmpeg license is pretty restrictive, and doesn't allow for any commercial use unless you sign a contract with them. Is that something Streampot has done? Just won

Really great list, I didn't know about most of these. `line-clamp` is finicky though, and often doesn't work the way I'd expect.
