I can't provide proof, but I _know_ that I tweeted @adom_dev around the time of it's kickstarter and one of the Baldurs Gate EE devs about gemrb around the time they announced that project. Both tweets are gone.

They've already started deleting old tweets for some reason. I only tweeted 4 times and the 2 oldest tweets are gone :(

On page 60 "CONCEPT ART (FROM OTHERS)" there are some beautiful images this guy used as inspiration, but I can't find a link or reference to their origin. Does anyone know where they come from?

The Australian store did not have the customisation options I wanted, so I purchased mine via the Hong Kong store and got it delivered to a family member there. Be careful though - the only way I got my E585 stable was to add idle=poll to m

According to this story ( https://news.bitcoin.com/looting-fox-sabotage-shapeshift ) the threat is real and at least one person got away with it.

Doom did not require a maths co-processor. It ran just fine on my 486SX-33. Perhaps you're thinking of Quake?

I work at an Australian med tech company. Multiple US companies block mail from any .au address. A whole country! And it's not like .au is a spammy TLD; you have to have to register with the government to even get a .au address :(

Don't know about the A485, but the E585 _still_ needs kernel command line changes to boot. Lenovo refuse to make a simple patch to the BIOS :(

I wish this were true. Even with the kernel parameters listed here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Laptop/Lenovo I have an E585 and I _still_ get random kernel lockups (running Ubuntu 19.04). Most of the sym

Forcing mega corps to assume the responsibility of statehood is one of the key plot points in the "Poor mans fight" series of books. (some of the best sci-fi I've read in a while too).

I agree that the "shutdown" stunt was poorly executed, but it did have the effect they intended. Here is a quote from discussions on slashdot at the time: > Plus, they must suck at advertising. This is the first I heard of them

Not _quite_ consumer, but we run a QNAP TES-3085U at work. Fully populated with 24 x 4tb EVO drives ends up being way faster and cheaper than our spindle based EMC. (although less reliability since it won't survive a cpu failure).
