Agree but I think you need to make the distinction between 1.5 and 1.3. 1.5 was such a radical change that really paved the way to 2.0+ with the component syntax. At that point it was losing it's 1.x identity.

I actually disagree. But with a caveat. That is, this introduces atypical behavior to desktop. However this would make a great shortcut to a standardized button on the screen. This has application in certain web-apps.
