Chatting with random people on the internet is much more unpredictable. Try writing on 4chan that you are depressed and gasp in horror how horrible humans can be when anonymous. Okay maybe it is indeed very predictable what would happen on

I also love Alpine.js, but after implementing a dropdown with it, I'm thinking maybe sometimes it's too verbose especially combined with tailwind. https://gist.github.com/egeozcan/cdc90e290271f3ea4b6801dcf1a..

I don't see why that wouldn't be possible to implement now that the generics are here.

I kind of understand what you mean, as it's similar to what happened with prototypes and the late-comer class syntax in JavaScript, and in that case, it was a net positive change as most would probably say. Let's see how this play

AFAICT, its usage is not restricted to generics. It seems to be suggested to use anywhere you would use interface{}. For the release announcement: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29556646

could you imagine that some JS proposal adds the ability to ignore TS-like type annotations to the engines, so we don't even have to strip them? this may help development heavily, also making the browser and deno nearly identical envir

People have been joking about left-pad any time they hear about nodejs. This isn't unexpected. It could be because people want to rationalize their technology choices. Perhaps not all of them, some of us really like having a laugh for

when there's a construction and the speed limit is 60kph, I really hate it when the car starts accelerating like it's in a race track the moment it sees the limit removed. it scared me a couple of times, so I imagine it's not

In city streets, the car sometimes fails to correctly detect the speed limit, let alone driving autonomously. Also the Germans apparently love making the rules in every junction different, and while most people are capable of intense street

Tampermonkey works on FF Nightly (the one with the blue icon). You just need a mozilla account and create your own allowed extension list.

And they had to hear the CEO say he cried the first time he did this, without knowing what it is about. Why is he talking about his feelings? Perhaps his assistants were fired too so there weren't anyone to check his speech? Crazy.

We have an anonymous system, it's called cash. The price is you lose the anonymity if you store it in a bank, which something you have to do in many countries if you own too much. You can still withdraw some and spend it anonymously. G
