I did take liberty here in saying 37A-ish (40A is code) because that's what some national fire marshalls are reporting about hot garage and reuse of range-type wiring for new purpose of EV charging. It's the wire material and size

The “50” in 14-50R refers to the maximum "rated" amperage allowed through the receptacle. Load-wise, to avoid melted connector, you don't plug something with load capacity of more than 37-ish ampere thru this 14-50R receptacl

Libmusl will drop your LD_PRELOAD nicely. And modules can be compiled directly into a module-less kernel.

The simplest thing you can do do is to make Federal agencies' tightfisted regulations into a guideline with a hook: a hook tied with Federal fundings contigent with such "guidelines".

It is the same security abstraction where you don’t allow support for network socket in process ID 1. (Looking at you, systemd.) You don’t allow access to the bootloader from any kernel, thereby afford a relative security in starting 2nd st

I prefer my bootloader (be that it may, GRUB, lilo, or even BusyBox) because thosr image will go away once the kernel is started. Nothing for hacker to see and analyze the bootloader, assuming you did not load a driver to the NVRAM/Fla

Flynn Nicholls, you meant? The author of the many non-stellar articles and IMDB.com author; his strength lies more in his work as cartoonist, animator and illustrator. It is easy to cherry-pick out a seemingly salacious quip out of context

Don't forget the implied ASS-umption of "American Sign Language" in your language section of your resume. I could have been an interpreter, or culturally absorbed instead of having a disability of a hearing loss of any kind.

Can attest to that. I once had a "Language" section that contained "American Sign Language", never heard from FANG until I removed the presumably offending section. Should not have mattered if I have a disabilty or not.

What I do not understand yet since the floppy drive days is this: If HD controllers are blinding ASIC-fast, why can’t we have three 120-degree actuator arms, or 4 arms, 5?. Or even a radial axis of 120 piston-like actuator arms full of magn
