Oh it's absolutely AI art. The shadows in the middle of the image here are totally messed up: https://radiant.computer/system/ Ironic for a project claiming to be rooted in human creation

Using stuff like this, does it make sense to use Rust in a golang-style where instead of async and its function colouring, you spawn coroutines and synchronize over channels?

The current music generators use next token prediction, like LLMs, not image denoising. [0] https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.08638 (grep for "audio token") [1] https://arxiv.org/abs/2306.05284

I suspect the EXIF data won't make sense, and the faq says the ZKP applies to the metadata as well. But yeah, inherent flaw.

To be clear, the LLM is only aware of the final state of the ptty when the command exits, right? It's not a TUI computer-use model at this point from what I can tell.

Freeform plaintext (not an executable/script) being an attack vector is new, outside of parser vulns. Providing context through tickets, docs, etc is now a non-obvious security liability.

In addition, Akkadian used cuneiform not only for phonemic writing, but also had many signs borrowed as-is from Sumerian as logograms (sumerograms), e.g. for the words for sheep and king. So in that sense it is indeed very similar to Japane

There's a tool that makes the Nix way a lot more approachable: https://devenv.sh/ e.g. `languages.rust.enable = true` and you're off to the races. You can add scripts, tasks, other packages, etc

I see this more like `busybox`, where being a single binary is an implementation detail. The commands are still orthogonal and composable.

Plus, a more phonetic writing system is also problematic for dialectal variation. I pronounce marry/Mary/merry identically, as well as bag/beg , but other dialects distinguish them. I don't think the written standard

Cool, you just might've saved me some carpal tunnel in the long run xD. I guess there's no way for the AppImage to use GPU compute, right? Not that it matters much because parakeet is fast enough on CPU anyway.

Lua on the front end is cool to see. Feels like it could've easily beaten out JS on its merits if history just played out differently. The seasickness simulator on the landing page is unnecessary though.

Yup, people have been using local video models like Wan2.2 to generate stills, finding that for some things like human anatomy, it can outperform image generation models. Very cool how moving training data helps build spatial understanding

The main reason I avoid cheap sunglasses is that if they only dim in the visible spectrum, your pupil dilates and lets in more UV light than it would have otherwise, damaging the retina. Not that the full spectrum protection explains away

I love how that became part of the "mythology" of Minecraft as the "Far Lands", where travelling far from the world origin made terrain generation and physics break down, subtly at first, and less so as you kept going. I
