The idea that long range communications enables echo chambers etc is compelling. However, I'm intrigued by the point that similar cycles have occurred elsewhere before the internet, e.g., in eastern europe in its transition to communi

I read one guess that 2/3 of the published results in social science are wrong. Suppose you tried to develop a deeper theory of these things and derived consequences from these “results” as one does in math and physics. If your corol

Interesting observation. I feel it's all about baselines: To decide if you have a lot of something, you need to compare your allotment to some baseline. You'll feel like a victim if you're more mistreated than your baselin

Here's a quick estimate: The potential energy of the wave will go like mass x gravitational acceleration x height. If the depth (front to back) of the wave is about 1 meter and the height is also about 1 M, then per meter of wave we

This is exciting. I've been following the idea for a month or so. Did you know that a group in Israel has tested the idea and found that it worked with the swab tests? I have a link on my notes below. I'll add your site to the

Often knowing that a problem has a solution is a big help. My understanding is that most expressions can't be integrated in closed form. Had the system been trained on the full set of problems, would it then learn the most likely ans

Did you use the code for a supervised application? i.e., did you pass both an `X` and a `y` to the selector? If so, then getting less than 1 just means you can't get a perfect fit to `y` with your features. Please let me know if that
