My three year old taught me something he saw on a YouTube video: you can search through a maze and find your way out just by keeping your right hand on the wall at all times and continuing till exit. Does a DFS.

FWIW I wrote a paper on nutrient-limited growth rates of cells and how that depends on their shape. one of the interesting findings was that elongated cells can grow exponentially quickly (as observed) while spheres quickly max out. https
