I'm sure a similar book could be written where the political stripes are all changed. Instead of Koch, we have Soros. Instead of Musk, it would be Gates. Instead of whoever owns Sinclair Media, its Carlos Slim or Lauren Powell Jobs.

I think that's only generally true for the period of time where the new tool has yet to achieve full functional parity with what it replaced. As that functionality gap is closed, the performance increase usually declines too.

I think the key difference between these two views on rights could be summed up as. One side sees rights as a moral sanction to an action in a social context. The other side sees a right as a moral claim to be fullfilled by someone.
