Yes, the workflow is broken, and that's why I've been working on LIVEditor ( http://liveditor.com ) and the past 2 years! I'm so glad that Kenneth's post just proved my concept! LIVEditor combines a Scintilla-p

Correct me if I'm wrong - looks like it can be used as a desktop document DB? That'll be very very cool, since MongoDB gives up 32bit systems. And I wish it'll support Windows.

Cool! When I read the title I immediately thought - it must be done via emscripten, and it turned out that I was right :)

Wouldn't it be amazing if Twitter Bootstrap get re-implemented in Web Components (now Polymer)? Then the html code that uses it will be much cleaner.

It's quite useful when one is doing Internet researches! I've just started using it in my searching for a html beautifier SDK for LIVEditor (my live html/css code editor). Would you consider adding a 'Notes' section, just like 'Tasks'?

It's really amazing, glad that I'm one of the backers when it's on kickstarter. And I know it's shameless, but my LIVEditor project also allows you to "navigate to any page you want and start live modifying the it", I just made a 1-minute d

"Coding/authoring in the browser" - this is EXACTLY the idea of LIVEditor, my code editor project which was started before Bret Victor's talk, the announcing of Light Table and Brackets. But it's not out yet, because it's only me working on

Maybe we should not blame search engines, but SEO really has bad effects on the Internet... PS, due to spams I've closed this forum ( http://writingoutliner.com/forum ), a online forum for my 'Addon documents organizer for MS Word'. And I r

if needs_seo_friendly { use_server_side_view(); } else { use_client_side_mvc(); } Server-side views are good for content-oriented websites, while client-side MVC's are good for function-oriented webapps that needs clean architecture. PS

Yes, ST 2 is great! And I've seen several ideas I got (inspired when using other IDE) are implemented in it. However, while it's not designed specified for html/css/js.

Yes, it's pretty great, although it's not fast enough in my experience, WebStorm will be my choice if I don't make my own. But the project (called LIVEditor) I'm working on is different - imagine a smart code editor is seamlessly integrated

If I don't have two kids and the wife (I'm glad I have) I can do that too, although I'm not rich at all but I can afford the travel while working on my software products.

A good brief description of 'selling points' of angularjs. "clean" and "strait-forward" come to my mind when I think about angularjs.

I don't know about other JS frameworks, but I've seen many people say they love angularJS, and I believe that's true, because that's exactly how I feel about angularjs ;) I'm from a Windows dev background and all other exiting code editors/

I'm building a similar one (it also allows you to inspect html elements like using Firebug or Webkit's Dev tools), and it's a native Windows app (and really fast one!) http://liveditor.com

Just plain html/css plus Mustache (the logic-less tempaltes). Not much new things to learn, literally no limits and a lot of freedom. And here is my toolset: LIVEditor: Edit html and css and see the result instantly ( http://liveditor.com ,

Most of the time google.com works (but slow, maybe because the data has to pass the GFW), but periodically, or when you search some sensitive words, the search engine become unresponsive. It's been like this for many years - I'm an extensiv

Thanks for your contribution to the open source community, and with respect, I think page headers sticking to the top or bottom are huge screen estate wasters for wide screens, Twitter Bootstrap's default menu style, Gmail and Google Groups

Some of you pointed out it's not easy to control/stop the mind, yes, that's very true, especially for some people. To solve that, I suggest to read Ekhart Tolle's The Power Of Now, I think it's the modern book that explains the orignal Zen

Yes! AngularJS's concept is similar to RAD frameworks such as VCL (in Delphi) and the UI frameworks in .net frameworks on Windows.

Check this live html/css/js code editor I'm working on: http://liveditor.com , it's written in Delphi, with a small part in JS. IMHO, Delphi is the best/productive native Dev tool for Windows, and it's my 'secret' weapon ;)
