My understand is intel is in this situation exactly because they don't use EUV - but "older gen" DUV - deep ultra violet and are pushing the technology farther by upping the scaling factor see[0] for more information [0]: ht

While I know there are people who argue in bad faith on the internet, I am genuinely curious and am not looking for a fight. I would have reached out to you privately but you don't have an email or contact listed on your profile. I

Off-topic, but I've never seen anyone describe themselves as a "devops-sceptic" - could you elaborate more on what that looks like for you?

Ambassador is a Envoy control plane, as in it uses Envoy for doing the data proxying, but it sets it up. So yes, it is :)

I'm not sure if this[0] counts as a source, but people have been re purposing iPad LCDs by making DP to eDP breakout board for awhile now. 0: https://emerythacks.blogspot.com/2013/04/connecting-ipad-ret...

It's essentially in closed beta right now. The tech exists, but testing and tuning is still happening.

Tape drives are still heavily used in the data center as well, as you can backup TBs of data on a single tape.

Well, not apple to be fair. Developers are free to set their prices to whatever; it just so happens some developers set their prices to $0.99 and set that as the expectation

It's essentially a meme at this point that GameStop is failing, but I'm curious, other than essentially starting a new company, what should a large company do once they find themselves in a dying industry? I feel like GameStop and

I agree it's false advertising, however often in these cases it becomes the users problem because if it's not sustainable then the company might be forced to go out of business which is likely worse than paying more for a product

I’m more surprised that people are upset. I got cerberus maybe 8 years ago for a small sum of money (maybe $5) there is no way that’s sustainable. A service like this should be no less than $10 a year. That said I do think the developers ar

Really it's more that the firecracker supports ARMv8 64bit, and the author tested it on a raspberry pi (as well as a HiKey970 board) but anyway. This is really cool we'll likely see custom arm servers running in AWS as a way to re

I hate to be negative about products others have built as I tend to believe that if it "sucks" it's because I'm not the target audience. That said, I am happy to hear I'm not the only one with this sentiment.

I have the same concern. I preordered the device but to be honest, I'd be impressed if it shipped by the end of the year considering the final specs were just recently announced and we have yet to see even one completed retail device.
