I lack the cultural insight but from far across the seas here it seems that using the n-word is borderline illegal unlike bitch/hoe. Didn't kramer get crucified for using that word? Do you think he would have gotten the same react

Configuring SELinux reminded me of configuring email. My god, can simple systems be made more complex than this? I mean it's email and yet you have to really struggle with 100s of options to make sense of it all (and you do know sendma

If kids spray paint 35 to 85, can a human detect it? If a human can, I am sure a machine can as well (at some point).

I haven't used Discord but it says "It’s time to ditch Skype and TeamSpeak." Skype is primarily 1-1 and not for irc. I have not heard of teamspeak but a quick google suggests it's for gamers. I don't quiet get how i

This sounds exactly like what homebrew does. It also installs under /usr/local and does not touch anything else. What does nix package manager provide that homebrew does not? (from a user point of view)

Does it matter? Slack is free and most (all?) people I know only use the free edition. No different from using GitHub. People will always use free stuff if it's there and of good quality.

CopperSpice is a good thing. If you follow the Qt mailing list, there are good debates on the approaches and it's pushing Qt ahead in good ways (like Verdigris itself). The Qt team was unwilling to question many of the assumptions that

@Bahamut, thanks for your perspective! fwiw, we are big angular users as well. I was only questioning it's usage in Google. I think I now know that it's used a lot more than I thought inside google.

I wish Gitlab had an easy clean way to import GitHub. The current method involves setting up oauth information in the config file and restarting gitlab. Not nice :/ I fail to see why they cannot just work with GitHub API tokens for imp

I also found https://www.madewithangular.com/#/categories/google . It's a far far far cry from OPs original assertion that 3/4 apps in Google are made of angular.
