Regardless of how the legal establishment views it, the access method definitely matters for the data to be unmodified. Things like file system metadata can be effected.

That's an incredibly good way of putting it. As long as you can justify your comfort over someone else's, you golden.

Say what you want about the second, the fastest growing groups to embrace it are black communities and the LGBTQ community and they as a whole take it fast more seriously, borderline professionally, than any other group I've ever seen.

It's frustrating because unless it's written in stone Americans won't even pretend to agree on it, we're a very chaotic culture that craves the predictability of rules and laws (unless they impact me specifically). Ther

Those are rough because the buck regulator is ~80-90% efficient and takes up space that would otherwise be battery. Any advantage they have over the NiMH cells is marginal at best, but they at least theoretically have a better discharge cu

Yeah the ideal replacement would be a 14500 or 18650 but they run at 3.7v so they would break a lot of electronics meant for alkalines. There are also CR123A batteries which are lithium primary cells and are much better for low temp applic

To be clear, the police were fucking stupid in this situation, but that's not the context here. They were literally arguing that appearance should dictate police response.

Fundamentally if you buy something you should own it entirely. This precludes that.

Technically that's the way it should be. Just because one person looks homeless and the other looks like they're headed to the country club itself doesn't indicate one is more trustworthy than the other.

This suggests that these software unlocks are actively corrupting the market by allowing you to compete via wasted materials instead of building better products. This sounds like something that should be illegal for the health of the marke

Working on my own RV-8. There are dozens of us! Also, support the EAA! They're basically the EFF/FSF of aviation, AOPA/NBAA/ALPA etc are all shitty industry groups that want to make aviation as inaccessible to the ordin

That's kinda what I'm getting at though. If you regulate that everything is going to be escrowed with a contingency (by which I mean guarantee) that it'll end up being forcibly released under GPL/whatever, you suddenly

Yeah I've seen the central US wind farms and they're absolutely ginormous. We should do offshore too but we aren't lacking in wind turbines, we're just putting them in different places.

Lots of turn key manufacturers out there too. JLPCB will take your proto board files and mail you the whole thing soldered and ready to go in a few weeks. If you use relatively common parts you won't need to solder anything at all.

As a note, try to avoid using IR to describe LWIR, there are many IR sub bands (NIR, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR) and your phone camera can detect at least one of them.

Not going to name names but there are a bunch of flying car and "autonomous air taxi" startups trying to get to market right now. They're all going to get their PP slapped by the FAA the second they actually try to operate (
