I don't understand the exception. Like less than 500 line chunks of GPL can stay? Or only chunks that are 500 or less must be removed in the time allowed?

I know where it comes from. And regardless of management, my observations are counter to the parent comment, claiming an LEO would be fired for ignoring violent crime.

Doesn't work like that in Seattle. Police actively ignore drug use in the (clean) parks, even with complaining witness. Police point and laugh at homeless fighting each other. Source: my eyes.

Huh? Is Ubuntu the un-bloated one?

I'm using PG 20 years, never used those. Observed code reviews where it was frowned upon. Precisely because of the ambiguity issue, possible future footgun.

My team has code, MIT and GPL, on GitHub. We know the risk of this kind of theft. We remain on GitHub for the discoverability. It's not so absolute.

Well, that's less funny. I was thinking of that auto-pilot feature in Tesla. Which gives one time to code.

That article has the same ad like a dozen times in a row, and also what is clearly JavaScript leaking out around them. Cool visual but what a sloppy site.

The best part is that everyone will blame the sender. The ignorant always blame the informed - and it keeps working cause the informed can actually address the issue.

Why would that user create a PR to help a for-profit company they don't have a good relationship with? Why would anyone what to help a group that disrespected you?

Can you expand?

Too practical. Just making the world better doesn't let you pad your resume or put your fingerprint on some recent hotness. Sadly, infrastructure work is largely ignored - until it isn't - and then the failure is all your fault!!

Isn't this a promise of open source? User doesn't have to get a binary from someone, they could, build from source (given experience+time)

Can you explain it plainly? I seems like there's a funny joke or irony in there but I don't have the experience to detect it properly.

On my Xfce it's been Super+Tab to cycle through app windows in the current workspace for the last 15+ years. New stuff is cool and all but Xfce has been so boring for so long I keep forgetting I've upgraded. One time tho, the butt

I came here to mention rqlite too. It's awesome, and non-voting nodes let you replicate out to many, many nodes w/o much performance issues.
