Well, I don't skip those (but, I started my career (95) in test). I think that it would be OK. But if the objective is a professional output, test, test, test.

No excuses. I've done this like 12 times as startup CTO. The habit is important. If you don't start, after three pivots you'll have a huge mountain of tests for a system nobody understands. Plus all the wasted time manually &

My startups get 4 of these pitches a week. All performance based. All with amazing claims of close rates - for lines of business that are completely unrelated to mine. The investor side of me thinks the founders should be doing early sales.

Way back in the ASP3/IIS days, we had these "big" pages and because of the engine building big strings was slow. So, I made this little COM library (Linum) which would simply pre-allocate a buffer for writing into. Yes, a St

Yo. It's 2025. We don't need to rage at JS, a little sprinkling is OK. Also, can one do a TCP stack in 8 bits?

I made one like this for myself. Love this. Mine has two panels. One for notes and the left side is just a tall menu, big buttons of my favorite sites/tools - saves a few clicks. Custom newtab is underrated.

First rule of marking. Say your name, loud & proud! Bragging doesn't take care of itself. Gotta be like the Beastie Boys, say your name 3+ times in every song.

The hate is because Pinterest is shallow but shows when folk are searching for depth. The engine can't tell and these results are tricksy and false.

I know folk now that are selling, basically, RAG on lammas, "in a box". Seems a bunch of mid-level at SME are ready to burn budget on hype (to me). Gotta get something deployed in the hype-cycle for quarterly bonus.

In the Gentoo world, sometimes you need to give an exact package name which looks like `=net-misc/foo-0.1.2-r1`. The exact match has to start with the '='.

Well, Martin's book came out after we were doing these patterns in the 90s. My teams had that motivation - data worked with logic; logic worked with UI teams. Separation of concerns and division of labour are, generally, good ideas. ET
