Are you saying Miquel Roca and Jordi Solé Tura are cronies from the dictatorship? The Constitution of 1978 was voted freely in Catalonia, and it is that very same Constitution what makes the referendum illegal.

Let me add one thing: the current Spanish Constitution was subject to a referendum in 1978. In Catalonia, it was approved by 90.46% of the votes.

If IQ = 100 * mental age / real age, how is it measured in old age? If you are 80 and have an IQ of 50, would that mean you have the mind of a 40-year-old?

Does anybody know if it is completely independent from a phone, as in: no need to even own one?

Got it. That's probably why, in the past, they invented products like the $6 asparagus water: to be able to pay living wages.

They still have ridiculously high prices. For example: a gallon of Crystal Geyser water is $1.50, while in most other places is $1.00. What justifies a 50% premium?

Another major point is that they seem to be copying the memory model of Rust.

Ahorita is not used in Argentina. I am almost sure it is not used in Uruguay or Chile either.

I wouldn't lose hope ("never" may be too strong a word). Sweden itself, 160 years ago, was a poor country. It takes time (not only time, of course).

The good old days of the previous government, where you could have a warehouse of GPUs mining bitcoins with subsidized electrical bills, are sadly over. Now people have to pay for what they use, like in any reasonable part of the world. Or

This sounds great. I think, however, that the big challenge for Argentina is convincing investors that this has any chance of being stable for many years to come. In a country where every new government promises and attempts a radical re-fo

From one the presentations of this year's WWDC, I had the impression that there may be some of Rust's ownership concepts incorporated in future versions of Swift. It would definitely be very interesting.

Large jusrisdictions with multiple representatives has its own set of problems too. In the current system, people, at least, know who their representative is, and there is more accountability.

Indeed. If there was a language that had nothing unique in it, then it would be unique for the mere fact of not having anything unique in it.

I don't think there is anything special about the verb "sentir". "Sentirse" is just using it in a reflexive way, and the same holds for many other verbs: acostar, cepillar, duchar, levantar, etc.

That's what I have now. Windows 10 is OK-ish, but I miss macOS a lot. My plan is to buy a very strong iMac for my home office, and keep my Dell XPS 13 laptop with Windows 10 for when I am mobile.
