> TL;DR: A damage dealer will beat a healer one on one, but that doesn't mean he's better. You need them both (plus a tank) to run a dungeon successfully. I haven't played a single game where this was true. Simply because

Is this REAL remote (I can apply from any country) or "just within the US" remote? I checked the link you provided but this was not detailed.

Startup of a single JVM was around 10secs but I had to start up a JVM for each operation (think of it like a JUnit test suite from the command line). If you have several of these processes the whole thing is no longer O(1) but O(n) and you

It is not a limitation of Clojure but a limitation of the JVM. And you can use the recur keyword to actually do TCO.

I was not interested in that either until I had to start Java processes by hand. The initial version ran for 5 minutes. I then refactored the app to be a long running service instead of a fire-and-forget app and the run time changed from 30

TL;DR: People tend to refer buddies from the same gender/race. To alleviate this problem instead of ditching referrals altogether add a referral cash bonus (only?) for diversity referrals.

Funnily this site does not wor k well with my crappy mobile connection. It loads 3 paragraphs and strangely the 4th paragraph is cut in half. I waited a minute for it to load.

There are two problems why I stopped reading this article: it is not fast (took 20s to load compared to 3s on Hacker News. Note that I'm on a crappy mobile network) and the site is non-responsive on mobile (I clicked things which looke

Clojure does not have the warts JS has. This is a win in itself. Data structures in clojure are unimaginably better. In js you don't have anything like this. For example you can't tell how operations in js will perform since not
