I'm 34 and I just dodged a bullet. I was very close to burnout at the start of this year so I just quit. I've been doing small freelance projects and trainings since than and my stress levels dropped off a cliff. I work half as mu

I think you're right. You don't necessarily have to be on the spectrum though. It is enough if you can turn your empathy off to maintain the laser focus. Or you can be a psychopath, then you can go on to become a CEO!

I don't know but putting it in the freezer works. We usually buy bread every 2 weeks and put 2/3 of it into the freezer right off the bat.

I don't know but I'm pissed. That's why I started working on my own social platform as a replacement that has some core values that are aligned with the needs of the community: - UX is paramount on any device. - Your data is

It would be great if it worked this way. What I see instead is that managers are complaining if coverage is less than 80% and you have to write tooling to compensate for generated code and all that crap. It is the 10th circle of hell.

If you have used Kotlin you would have known that no sane person wants to go back to Java after being exposed to Kotlin.

What do you use Kotlin for? How does it relate to the Go codebase?

What I'm really missing here is the "When not to use Redux" part. Can somebody help with that? So far I've been using context only and it was fine. Why should I switch to Redux?

In return you have to sacrifice a lot. Just to make an example we have to order stuff from EU countries (like buses and trains) instead of buying form our own companies because it is against "regulations". It is just an extortion

You misunderstood my sentence. I'm right wing. I wouldn't vote for any of the left wing parties in normal circumstances. If by "my kind" you mean right wing paties then you are clearly delusional. Note that I am not

I honestly don't know. We thought we can the last time there was a vote and they won with a strong majority. The real problem here is that there is no good alternative. The left wing parties are a joke at best. I'm kinda torn betw

You know what is unsustainable in the long run? How the EU treats these countries. On the surface it seems that we're recipients of EU funds but for every EUR we have to pay back much much more.

Do you know what's the worst of all of this? It's that less than 40% of the populace is supporthing this government and most of those people are either paid down or outright intimidated by them. Yet somehow through the use of gerr

I'm from Hungary and I agree. I don't think this is a democracy. In fact it never was. We never recovered from communism we just changed the old mafia to a new one.

You can do this in Kotlin if you want to. It comes with coroutines support out of the box. With things like Channel and select you could implement trans as well.
