That's a really neat way of explaining concurrency model. I did something similar for Erlang VM http://eddwardo.github.io/elixir/links/2015/11/04/links-in-e... (less advanced). I'd love to

As a heavy user of Atom I am surprised with the benchmarks. To me the editor is fast enough, can't provide any numbers but it is pretty responsive for daily usage (Python, C, Puppet, Elixir, Erlang)

I see ML and AI raising on the market quite fast. How does this work? How many ML engineers are out there? If, broadly speaking, we have shortage of software engineers, what is the demand for ML engineers? It is not something you learn over

20% per year is not impressing to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I admire them as a company, but the grow rate is too slow, to compete with top social platforms.

Designing data storage for countries is not easy, but it is easier to store a Peta Byte of data digitally than on paper. Nice documentary about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdZxI3nFVJs

I think it is called a positive selection bias. Some of paper lasted for hundreds of years. How much of information didn't survive during that time period? Information on s3 might not last for hundreds of years, but AFAIK the Voyager

It really depends on the type of project that you are working on. For backend services that don't require much data processing (OCR, some complex matrix calculations) I'd recommend erlang or elixir. Here is why: * type annotation
