I think multiple attempts are completely understandable and even expected? How is that defeating the purpose of the benchmark?

You can have multiple tests throughout the term to bring down variance. Personally I love tests, and I think everyone can learn how to perform well.

Personally I love reading code and reviewing code. I always find it funny when people say that LLMs result in their job having less of what they like (coding) and more of what they hate (reviewing).

It is 100% the job of the application. This is why a lot of programs have options like --color=auto so it infers the best output mode based on the output FD type e.g. use colours for terminals but no colours for pipes.

But see the other end of the exchange. This is going to allow filtering out people that had no business applying in the first place yet increase the resume noise for the rest of us. For the good role candidates it sounds like this may incre

Not necessarily, in selinux for example you would configure a domain for the "main process" which can transition into a lower permission domain for "app" code.

The way I see it is that LLMs and humans are not inherently different. They are simply on different segments of a very complex spectrum of sensory input and physical output. Over time this position on the spectrum changes, for both LLMs and

Heavy agree on your first paragraph. You spend one evening removing one unnecessary dependency only to see 5 more were added by next Monday. I think soon enough we'll have a decent LLM that's capable of reviewing ALL changes to en

Curious what camera model you have. I've been meaning to get into photography and I'm looking for a decent starter camera.

When most people want mobile apps, it makes no sense to develop a mobile website with feature parity for the handful of people that will use it.

It's useful when an unrelated change unintentionally gets rid of a TODO and you can cross-reference it with the tracker item to see more context and maybe close it too.

I'm not familiar with .deb packages, but one thing I love about Arch Linux is PKGBUILD and makepkg. It is ridiculously easy to make a package.

100ms to render a prompt are meaningless. You can just type commands and run them asynchronously. I do this all the time when a previous command is taking a little extra to complete but I already know what my next command is going to be.

Is there any tools that does log/trace capture on error conditions? I.e. we capture all local events, but only upload them when something meaningful happens, like the server crashed / requests are returning 5xx.
