I think this would be much less of a 'big deal' if you could 'suspend' more apps. Getting a txt during a game leaving the game to reply to it and then coming back and not being able to pick up where you left of does suck. If it could effect

Point 6 is a really cool way picking a random row and has never occurred to me. It does make me think though why has something like this never been optimised out by MySQL before running the query. After all it is such a common requirement.

Your first point is so valid. Having created a webapp for the iPhone myself there really are few places I can go to put my webapp on a stage that anyone cares about. If someone knows of any I honestly would love to know where they are.
