I really don't like Microsoft products (notable exceptions include: F# and Age of Empires). But they are really good at getting companies to spend large amounts of money on their products. Slack is strictly better than Teams, however a

I have done a bit of both Scala and F#, I think F# is a good bit easier to learn. Scala I think mixes OOP concepts and mutability in a bit less gracefully.

That is borderline tautological. Apple should comply with the regulations, because they are the regulations. The regulations are there to protect users, a 3rd party application is more likely to harm the user, so less trust is warranted.

I had a professor for my systems programming class give a qualifier exam day 1, worth 1% of the final but you get an F if you fail. It was just fizzbuzz, a student failed then complained to the dean, so they werent allowed to do it.

You were downvoted but I think youre right. So many games are made in C++, C#, Lua, GML, Haxe, even Swift, Java and Javascript if you include mobile and web games. In terms of raw number of games, Rust isn’t in the top 10 yearly.

I think that part of the issue is “suburbs” means different things. Suburbs can be pre-war streetcar suburbs or villages, often pretty walkable and dense. It could mean a housing development which can be large with hundreds of houses or tow

I am not really referring to wilhelmn II in world war I itself but rather the 20 or so proceding years where his pursuit of naval and colonial supremacy alienated Germany from the British and French, undoing Bismark’s alliance system. WWI I

I have this complaint about a lot of more modern history, which is that the idea of the great man theory is so abhorrent that some historians have started to treat the concept of free will as non-existent where the forces of history are so

NVidia doesn't make the chips, they just design them, so it is a flex. People are literally buying their cards faster than they can be produced. TSMC is building new fabs to make more nvidia chips faster.
