What about Windows 8 do you feel is copying Apple? The big changes are utterly unlike anything I see in OS X but maybe I'm missing something. Personally, I like Windows 8. I don't use the Metro apps (or whatever they are called no

Schaft has unfortunately removed themselves from the competition[1]. It's a shame because they dominated the trials and were definitely the most entertaining to watch. 1. http://www.theroboticschallenge.org/content/

Good to see the two things I've tried to use and wouldn't work in VC++ 2013 (generic lambdas and noexcept) have been implemented.

Chromecast doesn't because it doesn't support MHL-HDMI which added a power over HDMI option (HDMI does have power but it something like 50mA). The newest version of MHL-HDMI does 2A. I'm not sure if that's enough to powe

I can believe it. Yishan always seemed very dramatic and reactionary. I could see him resigning in anger after not getting his way.

It's fair to say Braid is his game but it wasn't done single-handedly. David Hellman did the great artwork and Blow licensed the music. Edmund McMillen (Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac) did some of the original character des

Could you be specific about what in D isn't useable without the GC? You can use manual memory management in D. It has Unique (unique_ptr) and RefCounted (shared_ptr). It has Array. It has malloc and free. None of these use the GC. Peop

You can use D without using the GC. I'm not sure why this myth keeps coming up. It's always supported manual memory management. You have to sacrifice some language features that aren't even available in C++ and some parts of
