I mean exponentially as in the experience is radically different. VW, BMW, etc will disengage multiple times during a trip by itself. Autopilot does not. 99% of my trips, I do not have to take over from autopilot. It just works. Sharp curve

"basically a little worse (but still comparable)". No, not even close. I had an M5 with BMW's latest lane keeping assist. Tesla's Autopilot is exponentially better. Especially in the last two weeks with unattended high

Great to hear! I've been off the project for years, but great to hear the community is going strong! I was the first community manager!

Awesome to hear that people are using it - I've long since moved on, but the days debugging my MLLP code were some of my favorite times!

Nothing stupid about buying two Teslas. They’re the best possible car you can purchase along several dimensions.

They make wireless chargers in a dock form. I love it - same interactivity as a dock but easy to pick up and go.

Amazon owns game studios and might have many different game concepts being worked on, such that an employee might inadvertently compete with a similar game studio idea.

Working on a side project is super easy. Just file a TT (or I guess SIM now?). As long as it isn't competing and not a game, it's generally quick approval.

That's a great negotiation strategy for a company that doesn't want to pay more. That isn't top of market in Austin.

A leader's job should be to effectively delegate themselves out of a job. If you think delegating effectively isn't "work" then I don't know what to tell you.

This is ads in the sense of Amazon providing Ad display space for other advertisers in Amazon owned properties.

They do have stereo cameras and sensor fusing, as well as detecting more than just the lines in the road. Here is what the camera sees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rACZACXgreQ

Yep, if you did something where local controller input directly impacted the motion vectors for macroblocks in a video frame...you could maybe hide some of the latency, but that seems dubious...

Yep, not a fan of the tax plan but it seems like a lot of folks forget about AMT. AMT made state and local tax deductions pointless.

I'm not a fan of the new tax plan, however that same couple would have been subject to AMT previously. The changes to AMT in the new tax plan offset the loss of deductions.
