For me, Apple Maps replaced Google Maps, and Google Maps then replaced Yelp/Foursquare/etc. Apple does a better job of getting me where I want to go and Google does a better job of letting me know what’s around when I get there.

Probably a smart decision on Microsoft’s part. The current identity solution has progressed far away from what Active Directory was decades ago and it makes sense to remove that, usually negative, branding.

It’s incredibly naive for this journalist to be reviewing beta software as if it’s a final product, let alone calling obviously unintended behavior as if it’s a new “feature”. Adding another domain to my “news” block list.
