The larger question I'm curious about is how many of these are legitimate DMCA violations vs. the attack on fair-use that HNers have come to expect when this 4-letter word is invoked.

It is still really disappointing that TED never released the Sarah Silverman talk ( http://techcrunch.com/2010/02/15/the-ted-v-sarah-silverman-f... ). Isn't it their purpose to expose the ideas, and ours to contemplate them?

The flock of people leaving Jobvite for JobScore or Resumator has been truly incredible. I hope they can plug the hole in their dam, because they have a good product, but it is exactly keeping customers like you happy where they seem to be

Another great way is to find a project you use, look at the bug reports, and start fixing them. Go after the small ones, or the fun ones, whatever seems appealing. Odds are that if the bug is still open but not critical, you'll be the first

One of the most rewarding ways I've found to contribute to open source is to connect communities and developers. Like if someone posts a fork on github, put the original developer in contact with them and make sure there's an effort to coll

I don't know why JobVite doesn't offer a RSS feed of job openings, but in case anyone is interested we (LinkUp) offer a RSS feed that shows all of Dropbox's jobs - http://bit.ly/dropboxrss . A very good indicator of how cool the coders at
