Those numbers don’t add up to 640mb. If you have 10 Claude tabs open, you’re not using 6gigs of resident memory.

GPT-4o usually does well with SQL. Did a query right first time using cte’s, array functions, table created on the fly in the query, etc. SQL syntax is fiddly so it’s nice to have a robot do it.

All the desktop apps he cited that are a threat to native are SPA’s so it doesn’t seem like he hates them everywhere. I agree though it’s very odd that desktop web apps are serviceable, while they universally are horrible on mobile.

It seems like a hard needle to thread: mainstream enough that billions of users will use it with a set of features unique enough that Chrome and Edge won’t just copy. Tabs was such an obviously good idea all the browsers copied it in short

That would be nice. Was stepping through some modern react code, and the amount of cruft you see is terrible in the transpiled result.

If it’s not implemented as a built-in feature of the browser, wouldn’t half the internet break if features were removed that people were counting on?

Are there debuggers that can single step over the transpiled bits so that it feels like the methods are implemented natively? Otherwise, it becomes a mess.

Not that please. The flutter example took 20 seconds to load and the scroll is super choppy. It’s unfortunate there isn’t a more native “app like” UI toolkit. Especially on mobile, web apps generally are bad and a lot of the reason is tryin

There are silly things that trip up e2e tests like a cookie pop up or network failures and whatnot. An AI can plow through these in a way that a purely coded test can’t. Those types of transient issues aren’t something that you would want t

I don’t think CGNAT is particularly limited to mobile networks. If you don’t serve traffic on IPv6, more and more of it will be proxied.

They support “function” calling between DOs, so you are able to compose a response from more than one DO.

Cloudflare ensures all operations on a DO happen on _the_ single instance of that DO, worldwide. There’s no such thing as the read after wrote problem because only one host will ever do reads and writes (until that host dies).
