I am not claiming to know any exact value. But previous comparisons I've seen do it by looking at some good or asset which has remained relatively unchanged since ancient time and then using the modern day price of that good to extrapo

I believe the answer lies somewhere in the middle. Economic output is not entirely static, but it is not completely accurate to say a creative hard-working person who comes along and amasses a lot of wealth has created all of that wealth

I've never considered that to be honest. Why do you think a separate legal system is necessary? What additional laws would these executives be subject too that say an employee or executive of a small private business not have to comply

That assumes that for a "thought/cycle" to occur, information would have to traverse the system from corner to corner. It is possible, that most thoughts can come about in localized areas independently.

I wonder if Mynewt would consider adding Rust code to the OS core code. It would probably complicate the build process and other things and I'm not sure it would be worth it for this type of programming. Thanks for the interesting arti

I maintain a couple of MySQL based applications. I don't really use any features outside of "standard SQL" is there a reason to switch over to Pg? I haven't used Pg before and usually default to MySQL.

Command prompt on Windows is pretty fast but Git Bash is still unusably slow. I guess I'll try again next major release.

That doesn't sound that outrageous. AWS S3 would come to close to $50k/yr for that amount of data and presumably this body camera footage storage company provides some additional value beyond just raw data storage that is encapsul

This looks terrible. It seems to just replace regular CSS query selectors with .querySelector('#nav') which I guess gives you the ability to use JS logic in your stylesheets. Not sure why you'd ever want that though.
