His foundation is doing a lot of good but merely giving money away should not be grounds for a Nobel. That should be for people who actually dedicate their lives to doing good. Gates is facilitating other people doing good. He’s like Alfred

I don’t believe this story, especially with the update. It makes it even less believable. It seems a lot more likely this site made this insane story up to drive traffic. And it’s from 2016.

This is a bummer because I really love my time machine as a router and backup solution. What’s the next best router out there in terms of coverage, reliability and ease of use?

I actually did work for Ford for a few years in the 90s, and I still would never refer to the company by its ticker symbol. That's just stupid.

The main reasons to use a CMS have nothing to do with user interactivity. It’s about content sharing and reuse between pages. Interlinking of Pages. Site wide configurability. Yes some small companies and personal web pages could be replace

That’s not so much saying the F150 is efficient as it is saying the 2018 Taurus is sadly inefficient. The F150 is a huge and heavy vehicle. While the current model is more efficient than other recent models it is not an efficient car. Not r

Yep. And not having many affordable models as well. When the economy inevitably “corrects” they will be saying “Oh crap who could have seen this coming!” Again.

If your company isn’t tiny your engineers generally shouldn’t be deciding priority. Unless your company is small enough that the engineers have a clear view of all the priorities of the business all we are capable of is saying “This seems r

SCRUM does not push for bad, tech debt laden products any more than any other development system. Managers who want you to push code out the door ASAP will do it just as much no matter the system you’re using. The solution is not to blame w

What does “trust your engineers to do the right thing on their own” look like to you? And how is that stopped by SCRUM? For the way we do it, when a stakeholder wants our team to do something, they come to us with user stories and acceptanc

I don’t see this as really an issue. When your work is done it’s done. If it’s someone else’s work that needs to be done now before you can do something else, those should be separate issues/stories/tickets that are blocked until

Her work is extremely important to the Mac and to Apple, but I don't like hero worship articles. It was a team effort, and there were a lot of people responsible for making the Mac (and Apple) what they were/are. When people wrote
