Well that's what I said: > Developer Preview of Sierra should be available today. Which you disagreed with. So, you were factually wrong.

Good on you for being honest all along and for open sourcing the results and offering refund. I wish people (both people seeking funding and backers) would take more realistic and honest approaches towards crowdfunding.

Spotlight is already incredibly useful, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's getting some of these improvements. We should know soon since Developer Preview of Sierra should be available today.

I think you're finding exactly what it seems you're finding; the CTO role is not for you (as it isn't for me either.) It is exactly what you're experiencing; dealing with bullshit, trying to get people to do things, get

I'm not currently in enterprise but I've worked at Ford and U of Mich. before so I have experience in that space. Thing do tend to get entrenched in enterprise space more so than in smaller businesses, but even still LinkedIn does

This just isn't true. There's nothing about LinkedIn that makes it any more indispensable than those sites or Monster.com or any other site popular with recruiters in the past. This is going to go down in history as one of the mos

Between Windows constantly pestering and even trying to trick me to upgrade to Windows 10 and getting LinkedIn requests from people I've only ever met once this is truly a match made in hell.

I agree. I never read Gawker or any of its sites, they were all garbage. And the Hulk Hogan sex tape was scummy garbage that I never had any interest in. But it also isn't that different from lots of other celebrity leaks that have bee

Yes it is. I like it a lot more than Go too. I wasn't slagging Swift, I was talking about the code example in the original article (like the comment I was replying to.)

Sorry for the poor wording, I was responding to the comment saying that the code example was hard to read. I was agreeing with that. I really like Swift itself.

Yeah I've used Swift a bit and found it in need of cleaning up. To be quite honest, I've found in the last 5 years a lot of professional developers have lost sight of the maxim that brevity is not better than clarity.

That's the thing though, I'm not defending a stereotype. Re-read my comment. The last thing I do is agree it's best to avoid stereotypes, and that this particular stereotype is wrong anyway because there's bad programm
