After Intel, the next contender for AMD is nVidia. I guess it's much harder to beat; but I guess GPUs in servers will be like SSDs.

Please be reasonable. Having NSA and several US agencies as customers doesn't mean you are a tentacle of the NSA. Even in the case of companies owned in part by In-Q-Tel I guess the point is to make their technology available to the US

There are "self-driving-lawyers" for niches like this one: https://www.forbes.com/sites/parmyolson/2016/06/28/this-teen... I bet the bank is offloading to "the system" the niche

I would like to see what's behind the hood. Since JPM is a bank I guess they used SAP HANA using the text analysis services... but I would like to know a bit more about the project. Any pointers?

I guess the RAD market vanished with Rails and its competitors. Back in 1998 - suddenly - it was possible to develop quickly a web application with a CRUD web scaffold behind to start feeding data. The problem we have now we is the need to

They should . When a sound competitor enters into your market, you must do whatever it means (legally of course) to close the doors of the market. In the case of Intel, they've been enjoying almost no competition in the PC market

For me the best part of R is documentation. Using Python for data will help you learn something that can be used for more... but be warned that Dataframes on stuff like Spark don't work with list comprehensions (my favorite Python feat

Does anyone know which percentage of all electronics sales go to Amazon? Affiliate programs are a good way to get market quotas. If they're #1 in sales, then there's no need to spend marketing bucks on it.

At Voyager-I speed (17km/s) we need just 688k years to get there. Not bad considering the humble satelite doesn't accelerate anymore.

If you can provide the sound files, something like Asterisk + PHPivr[1] could work for you. Problem: It's quite old (2010). If you need text-to-speech thats could be a problem. Text-to-speech needs good software. Maybe you can call M
