You need widevine to play Netflix at all, and widevine is always proprietary. It has a few modes though, L3 is software only (easier to crack) and it's commonly limited to lower resolutions. L1 uses hardware to decrypt and will only ou

eSIMs are called eUICCs in the specs iirc, that might help you find information about them.

An eSIM is the same black box, just reconfigurable and soldered on.

Try enabling JIT, AFAIK on Chromium you need JIT on to run WASM. Not sure if the grapheneos browser has it off, but it seems like the kind of thing they'd do.

Firefox DevTools are better for some things (styles, accessibility tree, network "Edit and Resend") and Chrome's are better for others (editing local files in the DevTools)

tbh I think one of the very few positives of having so many sites going through a few CDNs is that you can make it impossible to block a protocol or site without significant collateral damage, which can be a good thing, things like Tor'

I haven't been getting challenges that last that long, but I have noticed that the redesigned "security check" challenge pages with the spinner do seem much slower than the old design with the loader that was made of 3 orange

Secure DRM requires that your device have keys that are burned-in that you can't access. It's impossible to have an open implementation of a non-broken DRM system.

There is a company that got Flash working in WASM but they don't have public pricing so it's probably crazy expensive. https://leaningtech.com/cheerpx-for-flash/

Think going back in a browser, going back to the list of contacts from a specific message thread in a messaging app, etc. Swiping from the left works in most apps, but not all of them. The back button works everywhere.

I use Bromite which does the same and the only issue I run into is when sites need WASM. (Chromium doesn't have a non-JIT WASM interpreter, though IIRC Edge does.)
