Not really. I used to use it, but it was noticeably slower than Firefox and ungoogled chromium. It's basically just ungoogled chromium with a bunch of extensions preinstalled.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Trusted local software and trusted web software aren't the issue. The issue is untrusted software. If you run untrusted native software on a (either non-mobile or non-updated) system, it can usu

Links in images are always rendered as unvisited. See https://output.jsbin.com/wowalokusa , the first is an HTML link, the second is a link in an SVG, the third is a link in an SVG in an image.

I don't know if Electron has an API for menus, but the HTML elements that let you add items to the native contextmenu were scrapped, and every browser I know of renders their own menus on Windows/Linux anyway. There is not a way t

The fingerprint sensor navigation thing is really nice, if you have the Moto Actions app it's called One Button Nav. You tap the fingerprint sensor to go home, swipe left to right to open the app switcher thing, and swipe right to left

Though in JS an EventSource does automatically try to reconnect once it notices the connection is dropped, unlike a WebSocket.
