I am definitely not going back, but it's only slightly related to the sharing crackdown. I paid for my own subscription, but don't want them tracking where I watch from. Their job should be simple: send me the data for the video I

What is it about in person that makes people think more communication gets done? I swear it's the opposite in basically every experience I've had. When we work in ways that are better for remote things go more smoothly because we&

People are still setting up plex in 2024? That sounded like a bad idea a few years ago and even more so now. Having to pay and route login through a third party doesn't seem smart.

I'm not taking a side, but I don't think that's a fair comparison. My family was lower income than this. My parents were at work so that we could have shelter, food, and not go into crippling medical debt for even basic care.

On the other hand, maybe they should introduce mushrooms into the design decisions. Maybe it'd be more reasonably designed.

At the end of the day we're the ones that have to put up with the rough edges of this software. File picker bug closed or not, the GTK file picker sucks to use. I don't have the ability to just swap it out in programs that use it,

While I do think that is an unreasonable amount for a normal person to consume, I've also met a person who would easily hit that number. Most of us should be safe though.

I'm not so sure that you can use being "bi" to get "power" in this kind of group. There's some fairly heavy dislike of bisexuality. It isn't universal but is not negligible either.

Flagging someone down to call for you isn't a workable solution. For one, you could easily be nowhere near a city and need to call from the middle of nowhere. For people in the US (and I'm sure elsewhere), the cities are car centr

In most cases those should've been fixup commits and rebased before merging. Squashing isn't necessarily the best tool for this kind of situation.

Windows is a showstopper itself. It might play nicely sometimes but it isn't a workable solution. I can no longer ever try dual booting because it doesn't respect anything but itself. It'll just decide to get rid of other boo

Please don't. We don't need more closed ecosystems and app-only technology. I don't believe that you'll be able to actually secure it so in the end we'll just have more software that doesn't respect the users a

It can be incredibly hard to get a diagnosis. Even when you are shown to have it, you can find out that insurance uses an entirely different metric and, therefore, will refuse to pay. I don't get any sleep as a result and there's

Yeah that absolutely makes no sense. As a tenant, I live in this house, it is mine no matter what paper you have that says you own it. You didn't provide it for me from the graciousness of your heart but rather from a pit of greed that

The houses have tenants, so they can't use them for their children? It sounds like they prioritize the income stream over their child finding a home. Yeah, it isn't fun for the people who need to relocate but that isn't some
