Can I suggest changing the CSS units for fonts from points to pixels? That way HN will look the same on both Chrome and Firefox for me :) On Chrome 10pt HN type is 12px on Firefox it's 13.3333px (Mac OS X).

You are correct, so have an upvote. && in OS X seems to put the left side into history and works as I described, but it didn't work when I tried it in Ubuntu 10. $_ works in both.

I have tried both, the difference is only that !$ echos the expanded command, while $_ simply runs the expanded command; both create a directory and cd into it. (I'm running OS X, FWIW)

FWIW if you use Bash shell you can also use history expansion to shorten the mkdir && cd line further (the line already includes tilde expansion): mkdir ~/www/example.com && cd !$ !$ is the last argument of the preced

I don't really know enough about the subject to agree or disagree, I just thought the points the author made were interesting. However, to try and answer your question, I don't think that it can be as simple as taking one country's solution

I like working from home 1 or 2 days a week. I can take the dog for a walk over lunch, I don't have the commute (1 hour each way) and I have a much more comfortable working setup at home than in the company office. That I can't be interrupt
