This is pretty cool. However, outside of abnormal OS installations or something crazy like that, what is the actual use for this?

Anyone can "fork" bitcoin.. No one will accept their fork, but they can go right on and do it. This is my first hearing of Mike Hearn, but I don't understand your attacks on him. For one, I'd be ok with Tor traffic being

This is really awesome. I tried to make something like this once since I needed multi-master with like 50-60 attiny chips with poor time consistency etc, but never really got anywhere... This looks like exactly what I would have liked

In general do you need to register or anything like that? I think it'd be a fun thing to try, but also don't want any of the bad legal repercussions that can come with it

This is true, but I've seen libraries that lazily use dynamic in their API instead of properly implementing things with generics to accomplish things. Also, the way the various Microsoft frameworks use strings to specify property and t

For all the shit I give C# (some of my complaints are getting better with everything becoming open source), it's still by far my favorite language. I picked it up when Visual Studio 2008 was relatively new and coming from PHP and C++ (

It seems to me that they don't actually WANT anyone to use it, and definitely not modifying the code... Really makes you wonder why they bothered to make it open source and LGPL licensed

Although not nearly as horrific as a coal mine, I learned this type of lesson in a bout of unemployment. I'm a self-taught programmer, and had been laid off of my job, and with only 1 year of experience and no degree it's super to

It's a shame that strncpy doesn't have the semantics of OpenBSD's strlcpy, which I think behaves as everyone would expect. http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi?query=strlcpy
