I would have thought that the inner circle would be the Via Santa Sofia-Via Senato circle road. I’ve never been to the city-proper, only the train station, but it seems strange that any of the missing 20% would be in the city center.

That’s how far I got in my click-through. When the first response to ’something is aching’ is ’take a pill’, I don’t take the source seriously.

A dip, but nothing like the 1910’s. I’ve heard a rediction of up to two years. Covid mostly killed older people, while WW1 for obvious reasons mostly killed young people, therefore having a greater effect on life expectancy.

Really looking forward to commentary from Mentour and blancolirio on this. Judging from Mentour’s comment on the video I think it’s an understatement to say that he thinks it is correct for the FAA to investigate...

Northern european here. I would welcome the UK back without hesitation (but not without negotiations, naturally). Of course, I also expect all exceptions originally given to the UK to be lost forever.

(I don't have, have never had, nor ever will have that kind of money.) You have just earned your life's salary. Treat it as such. 7.5M Euros gives you approximately 100.000 after taxes per year for the rest of your life. Anywhere

I would presume that most (if not all) code that runs on Perl5 v32 will also work on Perl7. (Based on what I know about the plans for Perl7.)

Slightly related to your question, if you do get started with Perl you might find Task::Kensho[1] useful. It is a curated list of recommended CPAN[2][3] distributions for various tasks. CPAN is vast, so it is useful also as an introductio

If they can show that the product helps to save lifes and at some point get back to a normalcy, and especially if there’s no other significantly better product available, I really don’t have an issue with that.

Off topic: What’s up with the ”[Name]” quoting style they’re using? I’ve only ever seen it when changing names/words inside quotes[1], but here it is being used outside of quotes. [1] Which I don’t mind when used within reason.

> Domain denylisting can't come soon enough as a feature from search results, urgh. Crude solution: At least in Firefox you can assign keyword shortcuts to search engines. Since you control the requested url you can -site:w3schools.
