Was all set to purchase a Bosch and the local shopsaid their quality has plummeted in recent years, recommend a Meile for the same price. Was told they get far fewer repair requests with this brand.

Most traditional car companies don't push updates. I once asked Toyota if I could get an update in the dealer for a problem and they said no, they only update what is absolutely necessary (e.g., recall items). My 2011 Acura doesn'

Current car is a 2011 with 60k miles. I hope to have this for another 10+ years. I bought it used in 2014 at 25k miles.

Yeah, next car I buy, which hopefully won't be for many years (I keep them until they are dead or crashed (into usually)), will definitely be one that I fully research beforehand and anything like this is absolutely off the list. What

There are kits to upgrade the mini and studio to max out storage for reasonable prices. I've watched YT videos on the process and it doesn't look too hard. As for the laptops, probably not feasible. I will say that unlike laptops

The Linux version, in a container no less, handles the entire gigabit bandwidth. And let's be clear, it wasn't the app that had problems, the Apple Remote Desktop connection to the machine failed when the speeds got above 40MB

Getting liberals and centrists to disconnect from politics is exactly what the GOP have been working on for decades. It’s working. 36% of eligible adults didn’t vote in 2024. That allowed what we see happening today.

I torrent things from two different hosts on my gigabit network. The macos stack literally cannot handle the full bandwidth I have. It fails and the machine needs to be rebooted to fix it. It’s not pretty on the way into this state, either.

I know far more people who ride bikes and I literally know 1 person that fell and was injured. I think it's very clear scooters are far more dangerous than bikes.

In my area the yelling is always about hawks. The owls here are nocturnal so they don’t overlap.

36% of eligible voters didn’t vote, so roughly half of 64% or 32% voted for this shitshow.

Exactly. They are a scourge. My best friend’s son had facial reconstructive surgery due to a scooter crash and a coworker’s son broke his arm, quite a bad break.

> The real moment of the day was when Trump asked him point blank if he even wants a ceasefire. And he couldn’t say yes. The reason why he didn't answer is because the answer is meaningless. Putin won't respect a cease fire.
