I suppose the answer to that would be to treat blockchain as the record of truth. Kind of how if you have properly motorized property papers (I have no idea how this works in US), and find your land was inappropriately allocated by county w

From what I remember, apps are no longer allowed access to clipboard if they are not open and active, I.e. on the screen.

That makes me wonder if Google has a whitelist of accounts, never to ban unless via manual intervention. Kind of like how Trump was not banned for years from Twitter despite breaking their policies multiple times. This way, Google can kee

Forgive the snark because my suggestion is obviously not an improvement or even a match for target audience, but org-mode files with inline org-babel code-blocks is what I consider to be perfect version controlled notebook. Pity Emacs is no

If you don't use YouTube, I bow to you good netizen. But in all honesty, it is very very hard to avoid Google. Android, Gamil, YouTube and Search are big four left on my list.

Web is being crippled too. Google is clenching its iron grip from both sides (search and browser), while Apple leaves it crippled on its own devices for obvious reasons.

I have read that keeping the TV/movie censored for nipples and nethers is actually express effort from the porn industry. If you could see sex in regular movies, why will you pay for porn?

What about Java? As far as I know, everyone was very happy OpenJDK existed and Oracle eventually relented too. Now we have even more interesting stuff like Graal. Disclaimer : I'm still new and learning Java.

Civilizations that fell because of internal dissention were big examples because they were so big that there was no threat from outside. When there is not outside enemy, one is created within to suit the needs. Not to mention internal strif
