I've been running OpenVZ for years - It works very well. LXC is built into the kernel directly, rather than a patch, which is very nice. So far as I can see, Docker is just some nice wrapper scripts around LXC, nothing particularly rev

I think a lot of us are working on things that will help, but there's no single silver bullet. I've been working on a secure, unblockable network, at Tavern.com It uses GPG to encrypt messages, and passes them along by any means p

I think that with the new version, you may be able to just modify the icons.yaml file, and re-build. See https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/blob/master/src/...

Apps mostly worked, but things were broken. I'd suggest it for testing, but not on a Phone you need to really use. It's a developer beta for a reason- It's great for ensuring your apps are compatible, but if you're downl

I would have designed it the same way - Thunderbolt is the future of expansions, not tiny little cards you need to slide inside of the HW. This machine recognizes that - They give you 6 (six!) to play with. Thunderbolt IS PCIe, so it's

It's ENTIRELY possible that that I didn't tune it correctly, but when I was looking at it as a routing underlayer for Tavern.com, it didn't leave me a whole lot of resources for running my apps.

I find that I like I2p quite a bit, but I'm not as fond of the reference implementation. It's in Java, which makes running it on small systems more difficult, and it routes traffic by default. Routing by default GREATLY improves t

Keep in mind, if you can do your startup as OSS, it changes the game. For example, look at Monty and MySQL. He sold to Sun, he didn't like the direction they (now Oracle) took it, so he forked his original codebase, and kept developing it i

If you changed it globally, you might be noticed next time someone did an audit, which I suspect would be rare. If you added a backdoor on the server that said "If userid == e1ven{crypto.js = plaintext.js}" it would be much harder to detect

So let's talk this through. I think the idea behind crypto in the browser is cool, but it seems like anytime you're requesting the JS from the server, you need to trust the server - Instead of serving crypto.js, you could server plaintext.j
