What plan are these on? I use them and I don't recall either a VM or any dedicated server match those specs (20T, or 1G unmetered, respectively)

They're making some seriously questionable allocations, for example nearly /9 or /10 of v4 to a Hong Kong company that has zero connections to anything in the Afrinic region, that appears to almost all be announced in Los Ang

I believe Germany is the 'big transit upstream' of Iran. I haven't found UAE to really be a genuine hub with IXs, it seems like every incumbent ISP/UAE ISP will have 'selective' peering, refuse to be on the rou

Last I checked, Iran effectively requires all public connectivity to go through one of its state-owned ISPs (via BGP) - you can see routing for these yourself, virtually every single AS assigned to Iran will be upstreamed by Telecommunica

You don't need to collect everything; can just use unique landing pages, log a hit, and for signup include a specific campaign key (like "hn-spam-upvoted-190530") in the <form> and you more or less get a funnel without

Imgur is (IMO) turning into the same thing. Banning direct links, forcefully redirecting direct linked images to their ad packed pages of mostly stolen content.

It's basically a spam blog that hijacks inbound referrers from search engines to throw up full page sign in screens and nothing else. The vast majority of it is effectively stolen and rehosted content.

I've bought a handful of used HTC devices in the past. Only "real" HTC devices are go to dev page and unlock. If they've been through a carrier that isn't T-Mobile, it's very likely permanently not unlockable.

I get sub-2 to 3 Mbps speeds on a postpaid business-type T-Mobile plan due to congestion/oversubscription. This is not in a rural wasteland, but in a major tech urban city. Verizon and AT&T do just as badly, but not nearly as much
