If you want to experience a weird town, while filling up on pastries, visit Solvang. Los Olivos is next door, which is where the movie Sideways was filmed (and I was born), and has some fantastic wine tasting (try Longoria).

I'm a fan of tmux (when I use a multiplexer, I'll choose it over screen). It has a 3 clause BSD license. It was integrated into the OpenBSD source tree, which is great: http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/openbsd/cvs/2009-06/0...

I was standing outside the Portland Convention Center this year at OSCON and noticed the wood bark around one of the trees was smoking profusely. Needless to say, the glass awnings had the death ray effect as well.

+1 for tmux. I switched from screen, and have been very happy with it.

It's also what the OpenBSD team uses, and has been given a good security audit.

Luc, can you describe your wife's employers bicycle policy? I'm trying to set one up at my company as well, and haven't found the ideal plan yet. Suggestions welcome!

I got to the homepage and didn't really know if it was a game or what the heck it was. I only saw "Register" and "Login" buttons, some links to what seemed to be external sites, so... I left :)

OT: I'm on 8th street in Bellevue today, and I swear Bill pulls up right next to me at the stop light. I shout, "Whoa! Bill Gates!"... and my 5 year old says. "I don't know Bill Gates". A chip off the ol' block :)
