Didn't see this one on the list - while Command+Tabbing, if you hold down Option while letting go of Command at the end, you'll open a new window in the specified application if it currently doesn't have any open. It might so

It's super fast and enticing to triage emails immediately rather than letting them gather dust in your inbox. Not much in the way of revolutionary features, but it definitely makes the entire workflow noticeably smoother.

Not sure why, but Chrome/Safari are misinterpreting this gzip as a file, thus forcing a download (and there's no Content-Disposition header that I can see). Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep, should have mentioned this, definitely a sensible idea - I believe this specific snippet is taken from HTML5 boilerplate. Google is blocked in some countries!

Possibly a good time for a reminder, folks: It's worth checking that if you're hotlinking to jQuery, it's the Google Hosted Libraries version.[1] It looks like code.jquery.com survived whatever the present situation is (otherwise a big chun

Hey, thanks for the tip. We had some last-minute changes that our CDN took a while to propagate; it should be fixed now though. Let me know if you find any other issues.

It's super confusing to have your 'naked' domain and www. subdomain point to different things. Clearly, it also requires you to explain it every time you post somewhere. What's the reasoning behind this?

Very cool idea - you might want to make it a bit clearer that the sender has to keep the window open (initially I assumed it simply wasn't loading because of technical issues).

Actually, the web URL you're looking for is https://github.com/components/jquery (note the "components" vs "component"), which does seem to be officially associated based on the members of the "components" organization.

FYI - the confirmation email ended up in my spam folder. I'm not sure if that's gmail's default behavior or whether I've encouraged it to be a little too agressive, something to watch out for though.

Do you run into issues when collaborating on code? I imagine that the majority of people (either in favor of pure spaces or tabs) have trouble adapting to using both -- I know I would.

I think you'll find the common theme being Java hate, but a general love-hate relationship with the JVM (clojure, scala both have their fanboys and critics).
