It does in some places. In St. Louis it was as easy as checking a box on your bill one time, and then for a slight additional cost your house was supplied by renewable energy indefinitely. I don't have that option now in NC.

how do you tax based on the use of automated programs, AI and robots? Robots are sort of the easiest, maybe you tax their purchase? Or some kind of yearly 'property' tax on them. What is a robot though? A fax machine? A dish

There are some recent examples where people have trained a collection of large nets which are then used to teach a smaller net. The smaller net can learn more quickly and finally achieves better performance than the large collection. The m

That is a good point, but 100x more expensive seems like it can't entirely be accounted for by more specialty crops. Most small farms in my area do most of their sales growing typical vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, kale, cucu

I pulled some numbers from us government data 5 years ago or so and found that farms 10,000+ acres got around $300 revenue / acre, compared to 1-5 acre farms which got $30000 revenue / acre. Big farms have a better ROI. Invest $1

It seems that this might mean that ImageNet is becoming less useful a benchmark dataset. Some of the images have labels which I would have never guessed myself, and not because I don't know the difference between two types of stingray
