Why was it rewritten, because it was difficult to maintain? It sounds like whomsoever rewrote it failed to make it more maintainable, then I would say that is a failure on the part of the person than on the concept of a framework.

To begin, React isn't a framework. It’s a tool. Would you compare a table saw to a workshop? That doesn’t make sense and neither does comparing React to a framework—especially if you’re saying you don’t need one. Furthermore, using a v

Didn't know that; thank you for pointing it out. If you have to have tips, that’s a good way to handle it. Nonetheless I prefer doing away with tips for other reasons: * It’s just one more thing I have to decide, and I’m tired of doing

Having a multitude of small utilities like this is a great thing with many advantages. It may seem simple to write leftpad, but if 1000 projects that need it all write their own version, there will be at least 2000 more software bugs out th

The argument has some holes. First, the conclusion that baggage fees are a good deal doesn't follow since the baggage fee shortfall is accounted for in the price of the ticket. A more valid conclusion is that travelers who don't c

I agree with @mediumdeviation about the Gatekeepers section remarks. Steam cost real money to develop and operate. Valve also has additional operating expenses as a business. It's a free market and others are free to compete with Steam

Presumably this is because of the cost of launching the satellites (obviously quite a bit more than racking a server in a data center). Nonetheless, if this strategy beats the latency, then I agree that it's the right one.

The title of this post "faster than React" is misguided. React is fast. Most libraries and frameworks have to be fast to be widely adopted. But speed is not, in my opinion, one of the main reasons to use React. I use React profess
