Not sure where you see $12/year for 100GB? My pricing page shows $1.99/mo for 100GB => $23.88/year. Are others seeing different pricing?

Not sure where you're getting that math. $5/year (current price) vs $1.99/mo for 100GB = $23.88/year, which is about 5x more than I pay now.

Apologies for not being more specific in what I'm comparing. You're right that their TB plan is 50x my 20GB plan, but I was referring to their 100GB plan. Current plan: 20GB for $5/year ($0.41/mo) => $0.25/GB

My point is - they used to have excellent $/GB plans (grandfathered), then reduced the value, and now have improved the value back to roughly what it was before.

I currently pay Google $5/year for 20GB. I use half of this. I'm supposed to be really excited about what a good deal it is that I can pay five times as much for five times as much storage that I'm not using...?

Dropbox uses (used?) Crocodoc to do its document previews, which would be interesting now that Crocodoc has been acquired by Box (a Dropbox competitor). Crocodoc actually ran full Windows VMs to have Word interpret Word, unlike what was spe

(I also work at Facebook) We have systems that block spammy apps that are 99.9% of the time really incredibly sophisticated and get a ~0% false positive rate. This is a case of the 0.1%. :( Folks here are scrambling to undo this. Very, very

OP here, some 5+ years after having authored that content and taught the class. Astonishing that this got surfaced - I was very surprised to receive a flurry of inbound requests to join a class I ran half a decade ago. I'd love to know

Totally agreed that Parse kicks ass, which is why we bought them; we're looking forward to working with the team to continue to improve it! As a brand new member of the team, I'm really keen to hear more about how we've failed at our APIs
